Motorcyclist Fatally Struck in Deadly Collision near Bradley Road

SOMIS, CA (April 22, 2022 ) – Monday morning, one rider was pronounced dead after a motorcycle crash along Highway 118.

The collision happened around 9:12 a.m., near the intersection of Highway 118 and Bradley Road.

According to California Highway Patrol, the incident involved a motorcycle and a white Dodge Ram pickup-truck. However, the events leading up still currently remain unclear.

Reports indicate that the male motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. Although, authorities have not yet released their name or place of residency.

Due to the incident, crews reduced both lanes to one-way traffic control. Officers warned drivers in the region to expect delays.

At this time, the Ventura County Medical Examiner’s Office is conducting an investigation to determine further details.
