Driver Sought Following Pedestrian Crash in Adams North

SAN DIEGO, CA (September 7, 2023) – Early Saturday morning, a man was hospitalized after a hit-and-run collision on Adams Avenue.

The incident happened shortly before 2:00 a.m. at the 3300 block of Adams Avenue in the Adams North neighborhood.

According to the police, a man walking in a westerly direction was struck by a vehicle traveling in an unknown direction. However, the driver immediately fled the scene without rendering aid to the victim.

Paramedics transported the 29-year-old man to a hospital for serious but non-life-threatening injuries. The victim described the suspect’s vehicle as a white sedan. 

At this time, the identities of those involved in the crash have not been made available to the public.

The San Diego Police Department Traffic Division is asking anyone who witnessed the Adams Avenue hit-and-run to contact them at 858-495-7800.
