Man Pronounced Dead after Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Crash near Robertson Boulevard

LOS ANGELES, CA (March 1, 2023) – Early Sunday morning, one male pedestrian was fatally struck by a hit-and-run driver on Venice Boulevard.

The incident happened around 1:15 a.m., just east of Robertson Boulevard near Culver City.

Per reports, the driver of a vehicle struck a pedestrian and immediately fled the scene without contacting authorities.

Medical personnel arrived and transported the pedestrian to a nearby hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries. Although, the identity of the victim remains undisclosed to the public.

At this time, police have no description of the suspect or their vehicle. Officials are offering a $50,000 reward to anyone who can provide the identity or the whereabouts of the involved driver.

Authorities are asking anyone with information about the Venice Boulevard hit-and-run to contact LAPD’s West Traffic Division at (213) 473-0234.
