Man Pronounced Dead after Two-Vehicle Collision near Jonata Park Road

BUELLTON, CA (July 19, 2023) – Thursday afternoon, a male driver was killed in a 2-car accident on Highway 101. The incident occurred on the northbound lanes of the freeway, just south of Jonata Park Road on July 13th. At this time, the events leading up to the incident remain unclear. However, reports indicate that a silver Honda Odyssey minivan and a white Toyota Tundra truck collided. Medical personnel arrived and pronounced the male driver of the Honda dead at the scene. Although, authorities have not yet released his identity. Meanwhile, paramedics transported an adult female passenger who was trapped inside the truck to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital for further treatment. An active investigation to determine further information is still currently underway. Once available, more details will be provided.
