Hit-and-Run Between Parker Avenue and 20th Avenue Left Cyclist Dead

SACRAMENTO, CA (March 23, 2023) – Saturday evening, a hit-and-run bicycle crash on Stockton Boulevard claimed the life of a cyclist. The incident happened at around 7:02 p.m. between Parker Avenue and 20th Avenue. According to reports, a man was riding his bicycle along the road when he was struck by a vehicle. The collision left him with serious injuries. Meanwhile, the driver of the involved vehicle fled the scene without rendering aid to the victim. Responding officers located the male bicyclist at the scene shortly after. They performed life-saving measures. However, due to the extent of his injuries, officials pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
