One Injured in DUI Crash near Big Break Road; Driver Arrested

OAKLEY, CA (June 30, 2022) – Officials arrested Malcolm Shephard after DUI collision on Main Street Sunday.

The incident happened around 8:50 p.m., June 25th, at Main Street and Big Break Road.

According to reports, two vehicles collided in the area under unknown circumstances.

Following the crash, responding officers discovered the female driver suffering from an injury to the head. Medics then airlifted the woman to John Muir Medical Center for further treatment.

Meanwhile officers arrested the other driver, identified as 25-year-old Shephard.

Shephard was charged with a felony DUI by Oakley Police. An active investigation into the collision along Main Street is currently underway at this time.
