Chelsea Handler's Chelsea Chelsea Bang Bang is ranked second on this week's New York Times Bestseller List, beating out Karl Rove's Courage and Consequence . Handler told Kathie Lee Gifford on The Today Show , “I'm wildly attracted to him like any, any young girl is.”

L.A. WEEKLY : You started as a standup. Do you miss it?

HANDLER: I don't really have time to miss it, as I am on the road doing stand-up every weekend with the book tour. When the book tour slows down in the summer, I'll do less stand-up, but I always perform a few times a month and make sure I visit cities I normally would have no business being in.
 


You're quoted as saying, “The worse the guests are, the more pathetic they are, the funnier the show is.” What guest have you said “no” to for your show?

On what occasion do you lie?

I spent most of childhood lying, so as an adult, I only lie to get out of bad situations I find myself in. Otherwise, I try to be as boldly honest as possible. It's what a good friend does.
