Baron Vaughn wants you to celebrate his brand-new comedy CD Raised By Cable. And if you've seen him perform live, you know he has the kind of brilliant bits — on the Ku Klux Klan's website, buying condoms — you need to hear over and over. He'll be joined by Myq Kaplan, Jonah Ray, Maria Bamford, Margaret Cho and others.
What can fans expect from your new CD?
Some stuff they don't know mixed in with stuff they do know, but in a better form. Hopefully it'll not only give you a comedy UTI, but also give you comedy cranberry juice.
And what about non-fans? Should they buy it?
(In a Groucho Marx voice) They better! It's the only way they become non-non-fans.
You have Margaret Cho and Maria Bamford on the bill. Are they fans of your comedy?
I have the honor of being able to say yes! They've both said nice things! To my face! More than once!
Do you have a title yet for your second CD?
I would like the word “fart” to be in there, but Posehn already did that.
