You know Paul Scheer, part of MTV's great Human Giant. Now he's a big shot, with two TV shows: The League and NTSF:SD:SUV:: (note the double colon). And yet, like Judy Garland before him, he still finds time to give back with a his annual holiday show, Paul Scheer's Third Annual Sexy Christmas Spectacular.

Who are your guests?

We have a killer line-up with people like Casey Wilson (Happy Endings), Rob Huebel (Childrens Hospital), Melissa Rauch (Big Bang Theory), Mark Proksch (The Office), June Diane Raphael & Brandon Johnson (NTSF:SD:SUV::) and seriously a whole lot more. Plus music by John C. Reilly & Tom Brousseau But you just have to show up to see who.

Will you sing?

Hopefully and badly. Plus I'll read you a new version of The Night Before Christmas.

What's the “sexy” in the “Sexy Christmas Spectacular”?

Everything about Christmas shows are sexy. Santa's long luscious beard. The erect carrot stick noses of snowmen, going down on the eggnog. Is that a thing? I think it is.

Aimee Mann's Christmas show is on the same night – what does yours offer that she doesn't?

Sure we both have music and we have comedy. But the biggest difference between our show and Aimee Mann's show is MAGIC! The world's coolest magician Ruby Coby is performing. If I would have to think of another reason, I'd say yo-yo tricks.

Why should I choose your show?

Because all the proceeds go to the USO and if you don't choose our show then that means you HATE the troops. So do right by America and pick us. Same goes for your readers.

Any other enticements about the show?

Technically I will not be performing. So how about that as a twist? I'm hosting in character as J. Montgomery Scott, an Ed McMahon wannabe with Alan Thicke sensibilities and the format of the show is a live TV taping of a PAX-esque Christmas Special. Where we celebrate the holidays the way Jesus intended. Plus we'll learn about Jewish stuff too.

Paul Scheer's Third Annual Sexy Christmas Spectacular, Largo at the Coronet, 366 N. La Cienega Blvd.; Sat., Dec. 10, 8 p.m.; $25. (310) 855-0350.
