1 Unidentified Individual Killed in Major Collision on Monroe and Jefferson Street
INDIO, CA (September 7, 2021) – On Saturday, a major collision on Monroe and Jefferson Street left 1 dead along Avenue 42 in Indio.
The incident happened around 7:30 a.m. of September 4, in the area of Monroe ad Jefferson Street.
According to reports, a driver veered into a power pole for reasons unknown, killing the driver and stopping all traffic along the road.
Although the events that led to the collision are still under unclear circumstances, responding officers had to closed the whole stretch of Avenue 42 for investigation and cleanup.
At this time, the CHP have not released reports if there were any additional injuries or other vehicle damaged after the collision.
