38-Year-Old Man Dies in Pedestrian Collision on Crows Landing Road
TURLOCK, CA (June 3, 2022) – Authorities identified Maiyra Rodriguez as the driver involved in a crash on West Main Street, Wednesday morning.
According to the authorities, the accident happened just before 2:00 a.m.
Investigators revealed that a Chrysler PT Cruiser struck a man in the eastbound lane of West Main Street, west of Crows Landing Road.
The driver of the PT Cruiser, 41-year-old Rodriguez of Winton, reported she did not see the man on the road. Afterward, she immediately pulled over and contacted 911.
Eventually, the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s deputy arrived at the scene and started CPR on the pedestrian who sustained massive head trauma. However, paramedics later declared the man dead at the scene.
Although, their identity has not yet been released pending notification of next of kin. At this time, Turlock Officials continue to investigate the deadly pedestrian crash.
