If you're not busy dipping apples in honey for Rosh Hashanah (the Jewish New Year), Friday, September 10th, you can stop by Fred Segal from 6 to 10 p.m. for Magnolia Bakery's first pop-up shop. Coinciding with Fashion's Night Out, Magnolia, which opened, closed, then opened again on West Third Street in July, will come equipped with an icing station where bakers will frost cupcakes with buttercream. For each “Fashion's Night Out Cupcake” sold, fifty cents of the $3.25 cupcakes, made with devil's food and meringue icing, will be donated to City of Hope. Oh, and they're kosher.
