Man and Woman Fatally Injured in Single-Car Accident near West Avenue I

LANCASTER, CA (April 5, 2023) – Early Sunday, Lyndell Crawford and Kaneisha Byers were killed in a solo-car accident on 10th Street West. The fatal incident happened around 12:30 a.m., at the intersection of 10th Street West and West Avenue I. According to reports, the man and the woman were the only occupants of the vehicle. However, the circumstances that led up to the crash remain unclear. On Monday, the Los Angeles County Coroner’s office identified the two deceased victims as 22-year-old Lyndell Crawford of Las Vegas and Kaneisha Byers, 33, of Palmdale. At this time, authorities believed that speed played a role in the incident. No further details regarding the 10th Street West car accident have been released to the public.
