But remember something: most of us would rather get a great gift later than a sub-par one on the actual day. Also, with the holiday landing the day after the Super Bowl, we’ll probably all be a bit fatigued, especially in L.A. So this year, if you can’t find anything special by Monday, we suggest buying/ordering one of the terrific items from this Valentine’s Gift Guide, then taking a screen shot and texting it with a love note. Anticipation can be one of the best parts about gift-giving and all of these mostly-local brands and goodies are definitely worth waiting for.
