Saturday, Jan. 19

Get a taste of Old Hollywood for five bucks with an hourlong, behind-the-scenes tour at the Egyptian Theatre, including a look inside the projection booth. Double down and you also get to watch Forever Hollywood, which features clips from more than 75 American films, archival footage of the industry's beginning days and interviews with the biggest names of Hollywood today. Tours begin bright and early at 10:30 a.m. with Forever Hollywood showing at 11:40 a.m.

Sunday, Jan. 20

At 6:45 p.m., the “Roman Porno” series from Japan's oldest major studio, Nikkatsu Corporation, continues with Ichijo's Wet Lust. This 1972 film stars Ichijo Sayuri as herself — the legendary stripper who was put in jail for obscenity charges. Follow your desires to Cinefamily and rev up your libido with an eyeful of Sayuri's infamous striptease show. Warning: Beware splashes of hot candle wax.

Tuesday, Jan. 22

Long before Harry met Sally, there was Ernst Lubitsch's Trouble in Paradise, one of the first romantic comedies ever made. Released prior to the Production Code of 1934, Trouble in Paradise is a wonderfully amoral story of two con artists, Gaston and Lily, whose relationship becomes complicated when Gaston starts falling for the mark. See a “meet cute” done right at 1 p.m. at LACMA's Bing Theater.
