One Pedestrian Dies after Hit-and-Run on Lamb Boulevard; Luis Gonzalez Arrested
LAS VEGAS, NV (June 9, 2022) – A 59-year-old man died and authorities arrested Luis Gonzalez after a pedestrian hit-and-run on Lamb Boulevard.
The crash happened around 2:05 a.m. at the intersection of Las Vegas Boulevard and Lamb Boulevard, per Las Vegas Officials.
According to reports, a driver in his Chevrolet Malibu struck a pedestrian in the area before fleeing the scene. First responders arrived and pronounced the pedestrian dead, due to the extent of their injuries.
At this time, officials only identified the victim as a 59-year-old male. Meanwhile, police tracked and located the suspect driver in the parking lot of a nearby apartment complex.
Police Officers eventually took the suspect, identified as 30-year-old Luis Gonzalez, into custody. However, an active investigation is still underway.
