Woman Arrested after Fatally Striking Man in Cypress Community

SANTA ANA, CA (October 5, 2022) – Sunday night, Luis Anthony Victor was killed in a fatal car accident on Graham Street.

The incident occurred around 8:20 p.m., in a Cypress neighborhood on September 25th.

Per reports, Hannah Star Esser was driving when she confronted Victor and accused him of attempting to run over a cat.

Both drivers got out of their vehicles and argued. Esser then returned to her car and drove toward Luis before intentionally striking him.

First responders arrived and pronounced 43-year-old Victor dead at the scene.

Esser was eventually apprehended by police and appeared in court for the first time on Tuesday. According to reports, she is facing murder charges and is being held on $1 million bail.

The loved ones of Victor have set up a GoFundMe page to help with costs during this time.

At this time, an active investigation remains ongoing.
