For everyone who has been pining for LudoBites, chef Ludovic Lefebvre's moveable feast of a restaurant, since the last edition at Gram & Papa's ended, you can start your emailing and tweeting again now. The next edition of LudoBites — this is now 6.0, if you and Sam Sifton are counting — is now set to go.

This time around Ludo and Krissy Lefebvre will be operating out of Max Restaurant in Sherman Oaks, Andre Guerrero's longtime space and the home of the late and much lamented Marché. This edition will run from October 20th to November 11th (Monday through Fridays) and again from November 30th through December 5th. There will be two seatings a night, with the first service starting at 6 p.m. and the second at 8 p.m. Max has a full liquor license, so you needn't BYOB, as you had to at Gram & Papa's, but you still can if you want. ($15 corkage.)

As with previous incarnations of LudoBites, the menus are ever-changing and reflect location, season and, well, Ludo's state of mind. Upcoming dishes to look for include: foie gras panna cotta with turnips, radish and miso gelée; savory kimchi cheesecake; crispy escargot with noodles, garlic, parsley, papaya and green mango relish; and pancake soufflé with maple syrup ice cream and salted butter chantilly. The Lefebvres are thinking neighborhood, of course, but since they actually live near Guerrero's Sherman Oaks restaurant, this is their neighborhood too, and thus Max's patio will have a communal table for a dozen walk-ins each night. So you can take shots of Ludo's food and tweet your dinner by the light of Ventura Boulevard's street lights. How downright pastoral.

LudoBites 6.0: Max Restaurant, 13355 Ventura Boulevard, Sherman Oaks. Reservations provided by OpenTable and will open Tuesday 10/12 at 5:00 pm PDT. Reservations can only be made on the LudoBites website. No phone or email reservations available.
