If you need another fix of LudoBites, chef Ludovic Lefebvre's wandering restaurant (Breadbar, Royal/T), you have a one-shot chance next weekend. Ludo will be popping u–in a truck–at next weekend's LA Street Food Fest. Not only is this a one shot deal, it's also one dish. Lefebvre will be serving fried chicken, nothing else. The chicken will be the same recipe as the boneless fried chicken on the Royal/T LudoBites menu, with a dipping sauce. As for when a 4th LudoBites might pop up next, look for a 3-month stint at an as-yet-determined location in April.

LA Street Food Fest seemed like a good place to pop up for a day, to reach a new audience and to connect with longstanding fans. “Hubert Keller does burgers, Eric Greenspan is doing grilled cheese, so chicken seems logical for Ludo,” says Kristine Lefebvre. As for the truck, it's a one-time gig too–and no, they're not planning on letting him test drive. Good thing the chef has gotten used to working in very small spaces (Royal/T was tiny), as this one promises to be the smallest one yet. Unless Lefebvre pops up next in a telephone booth. He already kind of does this, at least metaphorically.
