Over the weekend, Space 15 Twenty debuted a film project sure to be close to music lovers' hearts. “Main Street,” described as “an exhibition of new video art and animation,” runs through December 6 and features brief displays of visual greatness by auteurs from L.A. and beyond. Among those who've contributed are a few well known for either making music, or making images to accompany it. West Coast Sound favorites and multimedia masters Lucky Dragons are featured, as are all-around performance artist Miranda July (who's got two records in the Kill Rock Stars catalog) and Paper Rad, the freaky East Coast pixelcore collective. In honor of this event, curated by the excellent Family bookstore, here's a video from each. The Lucky Dragons one actually appears in the exhibition. The other two are just awesome.

Space 15 Twenty is located at 1520 North Cahuenga Boulevard, 90028. Other artists featured include Andrew Jeffrey Wright, Jacob Ciocci, Kris Moyes, Peter Sutherland, Andrew Sutherland, Lori D., and Melanie Bonajo. Entry/viewing is free.
