70-Year-Old Man Killed in Solo-Car Accident near Wild Wash Road

APPLE VALLEY, CA (May 12, 2022) – Sunday morning, Lucio Parada-Becerra died, and another was airlifted after a rollover crash on 15 Freeway.

The fatal collision occurred around 7:00 a.m., near Wild Wash Road. For reasons unknown, the 74-year-old driver of a white Toyota Tundra lost control of the vehicle.

As a result, the Toyota overturned several times before coming to a stop in the nearby desert.

Paramedics responded to the scene and airlifted the driver to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center with critical injuries. Meanwhile, the driver’s passenger, 70-year-old Parada-Becerra, died at the scene.

In addition, an unidentified 35-year-old passenger remained uninjured.

At this time, no further details about the fatal rollover crash are currently available. However, an active investigation is underway.
