Our Experience Using the Lush 3
To find out more about this vibrator, my wife and I decided to get one and see if it was really worth the price.
A few words about us before we get started: we’re your typical mid-30s couple. Our sex life isn’t completely vanilla, but we’re not exactly chaining each other to the walls every weekend, either.

I went to the Lovense website to buy the Lush 3, and the process was fairly typical for an online purchase. They won’t blow you away with their site or customer service — but they won’t disappoint you, either.
One issue I had with the entire experience is that it’s a bit difficult to find information about their products. The main page is just a sales page for a different long-distance toy, with no mention of the Lush 3 at all.
However, if you click on the “products” at the top of the page, you’ll find a lot more information about each vibrator. These pages were much more useful, and they answered a bunch of my questions about the Lush 3.
What’s the Shipping/Packaging Like?
The shipping process is very discreet, as it comes in a plain box without any hint as to what’s inside. This was reassuring for reasons I can’t quite explain — I guess maybe I was afraid it would say, “VIBRATOR INSIDE!” in big red letters or something.
To be clear, it didn’t.
It comes in a sleek white box with a little bit of information on the back, but nothing too terribly important. Once you open it up, you’ll find the Lovense Lush 3 waiting inside, safely cocooned inside a foam mold.
Classy storage pouch

Using the Lovense App With My Wife
Before you can use it, you have to download the Lovense Remote app and connect it to the toy. You can actually use the app to control multiple Lovense toys, so if you decide you like the Lush 3, you can start your own little vibrator arsenal.

The Bluetooth remote control is fairly simple: you have the choice of using it freestyle, creating vibration patterns, syncing it to music, setting up an alarm, or causing sound-activated vibrations. There’s also a long-distance option for using a webcam, but we didn’t try this part out.

The setting you’ll probably use most often is the freestyle option. This allows you to increase the intensity of the vibrations by tracing an arc with your finger — so going up makes them more intense, while moving down lessens them.

The noise level depends on how high you have it cranked up, of course, but even at the highest setting, it sounds like a phone vibrating in someone’s pocket. Unless you’re using it in a library or at a funeral (don’t do either of these things), no one’s likely to hear it.

We settled on dinner for the maiden voyage of our Lush 3, and we chose a fairly happening place. There was enough ambient noise inside the restaurant that there was no chance anyone would hear the thing going off — this gave me carte blanche to go crazy.
