Louie F. Jackson III Arrested, 2 Officers Injured in DUI Collision near American Canyon Road

SOLANO COUNTY, CA (September 19, 2022) – Early Sunday morning, Louie F. Jackson III was arrested following a DUI crash on Interstate 80.

The incident occurred on September 11th, at around 2:00 a.m., on the westbound lanes of the freeway, just east of American Canyon Road.

According to reports, the officers were conducting an enforcement stop when the vehicle driven by Jackson veered off the road and crashed into a parked police car. The collision caused the police car to strike two police officers that were standing outside of the vehicle. As a result of the crash, two officers sustained injuries.

Medics were called to the site of the accident and there they rendered aid to the victims. One of the officers was airlifted to a trauma center while the other was taken to a hospital by an ambulance.

Meanwhile, Louie F. Jackson III did not suffer any injuries and he was arrested with charges of felony DUI.
