The LAPD has revived the case today, however, by releasing composite sketches (see one more after the jump) of the guy they say has terrorized women and broken into numerous residences along or near Los Feliz Boulevard over summer.
No word …
… on whether he's still considered to be active. (Detectives on the case were not available for comment today). But cops urged residents in the area to keep windows closed and locked at night regardless of this early fall warmth.

In a bulletin for the community, the LAPD says the suspect …
… enters through doors and windows and takes computers and takes computers, cash, jewelry and clothing. On occasion, the suspect has made sexual contact with some of the victims while they were sleeping.
The suspect is reportedly responsible for more than a dozen break-ins, some of which involved sexual assaults.
The guy has been working since March, investigators believe, but they didn't connect one suspect to the string of break-ins and assaults until a woman came forward in August and said she realized a dream she had about an earlier attack was actually a real experience.
LAPD Officer Rosario Herrera told the Weekly at the time:
The woman thought it was a possible dream, so she didn't report it to the police until later. That's how we became aware of the sexual assaults.
The guy wanted by police was described as a dark, slim Latino in his late 20s, measuring 5-8 or 5-9, and weighing 170 pounds.

[Added at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday]: The LAPD said in a statement today that the rash of burglaries and attacks started March 27 and appear to have ended Aug. 17, which was new information to us. It says 13 residences were targeted during that span.
