This weekend L.A. hipsters weren't talking about their cars when speaking of hybrids. It was all about the cannabis, the very best strains competing for top honors at the first ever Los Angeles Medical Cannabis Cup. The awards were sponsored by High Times and went down at the L.A. Center Studios. There was a variety of events lined up for the eclectic crowd, ranging from an art show with live painting, how-to-grow seminars, music, foodtrucks and lounging areas. However, the highlight of the event was the glorious amount of bud on hand courtesy of the growers and dispensaries that participated. All photos by Nanette Gonzales.
