We might not have a new NFL stadium or even a team to fill it, but Los Angeles has a new NFL stadium website.

In what seems to us to be an increasingly competitive battle over who will get a stadium built — Ed Roski's Majestic Realty or Phil Anschutz's AEG — the former today announced Monday it has a new bell-and-whistles website that nearly brings its vision to life.

In a statement, Majestic Realty's vice president, John Semcken, spins the site as a place where Angelenos can “track our progress” as the thing gets built.

“We're passionate about the positive impact our stadium will have on the community. Los Angeles Stadium is state of the art and will create jobs, set the standard for environmental efficiency, and best of all we'll pay for it without public dollars,” he said.

Perhaps what's funniest about the website is not the lack of brown people in a promotional video or even Majestic's touting that it's “at the heart of Southern California” — way out off the 60 freeway in Industry.

No, the funniest thing is that when you expectantly click the menu button for “Team” — which team is it! — you get a rundown of Roski's crew.

Fight on, Majestic.
