Spencer Parsons' horror-comedy Saturday Morning Massacre mashes up Nancy Drew, Scooby-Doo and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. A four-person paranormal investigation team, headed by Nancy (Ashley Spillers) and accompanied by a Great Dane named Hamlet, is called upon to investigate a haunted house and decides to spend the night there. Not so shockingly, things go terribly wrong, and blood starts to pour liberally as the group tries to unravel the house's sinister mystery. The film delivers some genuinely good scares and has fun indulging in a few grisly moments, living up to the campy promise of its title. —Veronika Ferdman
