35-Year-Old Man Seriously Hurt in Pedestrian Accident near North Cortaro Road

MARANA, AZ (November 19, 2021) – Saturday evening, Lorenzo Ramirez, 35, sustained critical injuries in a hit-and-run crash on Interstate 10.

Officers responded to the intersection of I-10 and Cortaro Road near the westbound on ramp. However, the events leading up to the collision remain unclear.

Paramedics responded to the scene and transported the pedestrian to a local hospital with major injuries. Investigators later identified the injured victim as Lorenzo Ramirez.
