ShoreLine Aquatic Park was the site of the Long Beach Seafood Festival Saturday, May 4 to Sunday, May 6. Dozens of food vendors showcased their goodies for the hundreds of people who turned up to shell out the cash for principally seafood-based food products. Naturally, after some people had been hooked by the $5 mini-samples that a seemingly small number of the vendors offered, many of the guests opted for the more expensive large portions. Live music, face painting, a children's zone, food demonstrations, and non-food vendors fleshed out the scene as guests pitched blankets, sat at picnic tables, or just gazed out to sea while chomping down their various types of food samples.
