Is it already time to think about summer music festivals? Indeed, with SXSW and Coachella firmly behind us, we must now turn to the upcoming festival of festivals that has come to mark every summer. First major fest to reveal its lineup is Lollapalooza, which celebrates its 20th anniversary this year.

Lollapalooza was started way back in 1991, when Perry Farrell lead singer of Jane's Addiction, started to plan a farewell tour for the band. Acts included Nine Inch Nails, Rollins Band, Siouxsie and the Banshees, and Ice-T; subsequent festivals have maintained a similarly diverse lineup.

This year, many Los Angeles bands made the cut and are part of the lineup, including:

Best Coast

Fitz and the Tantrums

Cold War Kids

Local Natives

Foster the People

Mayer Hawthorne and the County

Grouplove

Lord Huron

Daedelus

Headlined by Eminem, Foo Fighters, Coldplay, and Muse, the full lineup can be found here.
