Yuca's, a James Beard award winning restaurant/food stand (under the category of "America's Classics") has been family-owned since 1976. With a long line at the take-out window, burritos, tacos, tortas, sandwiches and hot dogs are all served on paper plates. On Saturdays you can get in line early to order their famous Yucatan-style tamales made with ground pork, a mild salsa and wrapped in a banana leaf, for $1.50.
