The Lamp Community Arts Program

527 Crocker St.
Los Angeles, CA 90013
The Lamp Arts Program is an arts studio and creativity center for the Skid Row neighborhood. Located at the Lamp Village, the organization’s main shelter facility in the heart of downtown L.A.’s Skid Row, the Arts Program offers people who are homeless, living in extreme poverty or with mental illness a safe and nurturing place for creative self-expression. The program also encourages long-term participation as artists develop their individual voices, display the artwork, inspire each other, build a healthy community together and make creativity a continuous, restorative part of their lives.
