Prior to founding SLOAN PROJECTS in 2015, Hannah Sloan was a director of ROSEGALLERY, an internationally renowned gallery of photography and works on paper. During her tenure of 10+ years, she helped nurture the careers of highly regarded artists including Jo Ann Callis, John Chiara, Mark Cohen, Bruce Davidson, William Eggleston, Robbert Flick, Todd Hido, Graciela Iturbide, Chris Killip and Christian Patterson. In tandem with curators for the Wilson Centre for Photography, London, Hannah oversaw the production and promotion of important limited edition prints and portfolios including Mark Cohen’s True Color, Bruce Davidson’s Subway, and Early Color /Early Black & White by Jo Ann Callis. In addition to advising private collectors and museums Hannah independently funds and curates ambitious art installations and is the chief curator and exhibition coordinator for the Motion Picture & Television Fund. SLOAN PROJECTS combines Hannah's expertise in the art market with her love for installation and innovative display through highly focused, thematic exhibitions and a personalized approach to art advising. The gallery currently features emerging and mid-career artists who work across disciplines. A roster of artists represented by the gallery will be announced in September 2015.
