It might be an overstatement to call the Mexican hot chocolate at Sabor Y Cultura in Hollywood “famous,” but not by much. The Little Armenia-based coffee and pastry shop is well known for its finely ground mix of cinnamon and chocolate, poured over and mixed in with frothy steamed milk. The drink is so popular, in fact, that on the few particularly cold L.A. days each winter, you can find the usual laptop-toting crowd grumbling at the increased foot traffic. The food isn't particularly good at Sabor Y Cultura, but you'll be left satisfied with the Mexican hot chocolate, or its jittery cousin the mocha. If not, satiate yourself with big gulps of free WiFi, chow down on plenty of open tables and get your fill of widely available outlets. Perhaps the next most famous thing in Hollywood is being typed up on a laptop in the corner as we speak.
