You might first stumble upon this sushi restaurant simply because you can shop (and park) in the Culver City Trader Joe's next door. But you'll come back for the food, excellent omakase and sashimi, noodle dishes and small plates, with both traditional and modern influences, prepared by chef Keizo Ishiba, who trained in Osaka, and for which the restaurant is named. —Amy Scattergood
