Built in 1909, this seeming life-size bell jar on the University of Southern California campus features Edwardian architecture, marble, stained glass and ornate tchotchkes. It’s comprised of four rooms, which you have to make an appointment to see, and which you will then be guided through by a hugely knowledgeable curator. There’s a haunted air to the surroundings, and the whole experience is delightfully odd.
