At Café Gratitude, situated at the northernmost edge of yoga-friendly Larchmont Village, you can take in the scene for breakfast, lunch or dinner, seven days a week. The seasonally changing menu is broken down to raw and cooked dishes, all of which are vegan and made with organic ingredients. They’re also given affirmation-based titles, such as “I am Pure” (kale, nori and cucumber salad) and “I am Transformed” (corn tacos with cashew nacho cheese). The always present dish “I am Grateful” — a bowl of quinoa, kale and black beans — is offered for $3, but if you choose to pay more, the difference goes “to feed someone in need.” The general slant of the menu is California-Mexican with all of the requisite nut cheeses, grasses, sprouts, seeds and berries to make it as healthful, colorful and filling as possible. There is a full juice bar and coffee, with California beers and wine served as well.
