We have mixed feelings about even bringing your attention to this corporate shill thing that Pepsi is doing with LMFAO and will.i.am, but sometimes you have to stare into the abyss to get a better understanding of who you are. So, if you're up for it, stare into this abyss:

See how we re-imagined a collaboration between will.i.am and LMFAO after the jump.

Our thinking was that, wouldn't be interesting if we took the nasty-ass Will beats, and coupled them with the silly-ass LMFAO raps, but then — work with us here — funneled all that nastiness through the genius of John Cage. In fact, LMFAO seems to be quite philosophically in line with one of Cage's great axioms: “I have nothing to say, and I am saying it.”

So what we did was take all those great tracks of Will's and LMFAO's, and then deleted them. What we were left with was an absence, which in itself is a presence.

“WEST COAST SOUND'S LMFAO/WILL.I.AM/JOHN CAGE REMIX”

This is the best LMFAO track ever, if we do say so ourselves.
