All signs point to yes — fans seem to be really in love like with the new incarnation of the Like. Original members Z Berg and Tennessee Thomas, now hooked up with bassist Laena Geronimo and keyboardist Annie Monroe, are kicking off a four-Monday stand tonight at the Echo leading up to the June release of their sophomore album, “Release Me.” Its sharp, '60s-leaning rock 'n' soul emerged from analog-only studio sessions with Mark Ronson, Alex Greenwald and three of Sharon Jones' Dap-Kings, Tommy Brenneck, Homer Steinweiss, and Victor Axelrod. Supporting on opening night will be sharp-dressed Long Beach quintet the New Fidelity.

Elsewhere: Welsh septet Los Campesinos continues its SoCal party (they played the El Rey on Saturday) with a stop at the Glass House. … Sweethead, the new band assembled by from Troy Van Leeuwen of Queens Of The Stone Age, celebrates the release of its debut album at the second night of its Spaceland residency. … And Pitchfork darlings Fang Island, fresh off a weekend gig opening for Red Sparowes, do a 6 p.m. in-store at Amoeba.

Also: Week 2 of War Tapes' residency at the Silverlake Lounge, with the New Room supporting; Angela McCluskey at the RSVP-only It's a School Night at Bardot; the Filthy Souls at 14 Below; Randy Mandolin at the Viper Room; Estes Shane Whalen at the Hotel Cafe; and Mark Ballas at the Mint.
