Rapper Talib Kweli and producer Hi-Tek are officially back in business as Reflection Eternal — a full decade after their first album, Train of Thought. The new Revolutions Per Minute (out this week) might not feel as revolutionary as their debut, but it'll put a smile on the face of anybody seeking some real soul in their hip-hop. And cameos from the likes of Estelle (here, have a listen), Mos Def, Bilal, Bun B and Chester French don't hurt either. Reflection Eternal hits the House of Blues tonight.

Elsewhere: Caribou plays the El Rey Theatre behind its stunning new album “Swim.” … James Mercer and Danger Mouse, as Broken Bells, are back in L.A. for a sold-out show at the Fonda Theatre, with indie whiz kids the Morning Benders opening. … And local four-piece Standing Shadows celebrates the release of its debut Five Years of Darkness at the Troubadour.

Also: Julieta Venegas at Club Nokia; Night 2 of Massive Attack at the Wiltern; ex-Rentals singer Sara Radle, with Correatown, at Spaceland; the Roky Erickson/Okkervil River free children's show at the Eagle Rock Center for the Arts; Horse Feathers at the Bootleg Theater; the Tender Box at the Viper Room; Henry Wolfe and Farmer Dave Scher at the Hotel Cafe; the Justin Gaston/Alex Lambert residency at the Mint; Baths' residency at Low End Theory at the Airliner; and the Allah Las at Silverlake Lounge.
