If you can get past Karen Elson's flaming red hair, if you can get past her unblemished skin, if you can get past her supermodel comportment, if you can get past the fact she's Mrs. Jack White … well, you should. The 31-year-old singer plays Southern gothic chanteuse pretty convincingly on her debut album “The Ghost Who Walks,” which was produced by her hubby and released in May on his label, Third Man Records. Elson didn't just fall off the runway and take up singing — she's done cabaret with New York City-based the Citizens Band and collaborated with Robert Plant and Cat Power. Elson's show tonight at Spaceland might draw its share of mouth-breathers, but they'd do well to keep their ears open as well.
