Fans of his Brit Award-nominated quartet Guillemots will have to wait — frontman Fyfe Dangerfield is busy making people swoon. Dangerfield's solo album “Fly Yellow Moon,” written in five days on what was obviously a pop bender, is hooky and heart-on-the-sleeve and bears some nice production touches added by Suede's Bernard Butler. The album was picked up by Downtown Music and released this week; Dangerfield brings it to the Hotel Cafe crowd tonight.

Elsewhere: Singer and now reality TV star Brandy holds forth at the Key Club. … Toronto's Dragonette brings its sexy electro to the Echo. … Angus and Julia Stone are back for a second night at Hollywood Forever Cemetery's Masonic Lodge. … And pop newbies International Tennis Champions headline the Silverlake Lounge.
