Lit.Club rang in the New Year with the first buzzy cannabis celebration of the year, a 1920s Prohibition-themed evening in the hills of Bel-Air with fire-eating, burlesque, music, new strains and a menu from wild child chef Dean Barker.
Evoke is a new series of sensory parties from Lit.Club, the experience-focused cannabis brand from Judd Weiss. NYE 2018 was the second Evoke event, after Halloween 2018.
Two hours of grab-and-go hors d’oeuvres included persimmon and pluot carpaccio, hamachi rolls, maple bourbon honey shrimp with lemon togarashi, Brooklyn orange chicken and Kobe beef on a rock. Coconut passion fruit panna cotta also was passed among other party favors.
“I try to create sophisticated, provocative experiences that push beyond our expectations,” Weiss says. More events will be popping up through the year and announced on the @litclublife Instagram page.
