This city may not have a lot of love for the Long Island rapper known as Metal Fingerz DOOM at the moment. The notorious hip-hop villain pulled another bait-and-switch in late November, sending his goons to lip-sync in his stead for an advertised appearance at the Grand Star in Chinatown.

The footage after the jump, while dark, clearly illustrates the ire fans had for the imposter.

But Stones Throw recording artist and Beat Junkies collective founder J.Rocc may be making attempts at amends. In a recent DJ set for BBC 1Xtra, J.Rocc leaked a brand new song from the unreleased second Madvillain album. For those who missed one of the best albums of 2004, Madvillainy, Madvillain comprises DOOM on vocals and L.A. beat maestro Madlib on beats. This city's been waiting for this for some time.
