Elderly Woman Killed in Pedestrian Accident on Lampson Avenue

STANTON, CA (January 20, 2022) – Early Sunday morning, Lisa Underhill was killed in a hit-and-run collision on Beach Boulevard.

According to the police, the incident occurred around 2:45 a.m. Dispatchers responded to the scene near the intersection of Beach Boulevard and Lampson Avenue.

Reports indicate that the driver of a vehicle struck the woman who was crossing Beach Boulevard and Lampson Avenue.

Upon impact, the driver immediately fled the scene without rendering aid to the severely injured pedestrian. Although, further circumstances leading up to the collision remain unclear.

Due to the impact of the crash, medics pronounced the female pedestrian dead at the scene, due to the extent of her condition. Authorities later identified her as 62-year-old Lisa Underhill, of Huntington Beach.

Detectives eventually found evidence that the suspect’s vehicle is likely a 2007 to 2009 Toyota Camry. Moreover, the authorities are currently working to obtain any security footage related to the hit-and-run.
