Coachella is a must-see event on the annual Southern California party calendar.

And nobody is more aware of said calendar, it seems, than one Lindsay Lohan. RadarOnline says the celeb wanted to ensure that her recent deal for locked-up rehab, which might or might not be in jeopardy, did not conflict with Coachella's two-weekend stint in the desert next month:

Not one to let real life rain on her parade, Lohan reportedly said that any deal to avoid jail time for her Santa Monica hit-and-lie had to make way for Coachella. RadarOnline:

Lindsay was adamant that she not be forced to go to rehab until after the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in the Palm Springs area on successive weekends in April. Lindsay LOVES going to the musical festival, and she's determined to go this year. She didn't want a little thing like rehab to get in her way of attending. Linds refused to sign off on any deal that would have prevented her from going to Coachella, period.

If true, this doesn't bode well for the party girl, who might have to see a judge again soon about that deal.

TMZ says that a key element of the agreement — 90 days in “lock down rehab” — is impossible because there's no such thing as lock-down rehab.

Drug counseling facilities don't keep people against their will. And Lohan has a record of allegedly peacing out of rehab in the past.

Want to teach Lohan a lesson for real this time? Ground her during Coachella.
