ABC7 is reporting that Lindsay Lohan “was taken to hospital after being found unconscious at Ritz-Carlton in Marina del Rey.” Paramedics reportedly arrived around 10:15 a.m.

She's been filming “Liz & Dick” in the area, and was involved in a car crash along the PCH last week. Alcohol was later reported to have been stashed in her car.

Los Angeles County Fire Department officials confirm to City News Service that they showed up to the hotel this morning…

… “on a report of an unconscious person.” However, City News says paramedics “did NOT transport anyone to a hospital.”

Lohan always insists that she's reformed from her cocaine party-girl days, which included a DUI in Santa Monica and a necklace “borrowing” incident in Venice. But general speculation is that she's still a slave to drug and alcohol addiction, and the pressure of young Hollywood in general.

The constant photo shoots as tragic figure Marilyn Monroe — and her new made-for-TV role as Elizabeth Taylor — haven't helped.

Update: TMZ confirms, after talking to the usual “sources,” that Lohan was indeed found unresponsive this morning — but was never transported to a hospital.

“We're told someone became alarmed because they could not wake her up and the person called 911,” reports TMZ. But when paramedics arrived, they “determined nothing was wrong with Lindsay.”

The episode is being blamed on her grueling work schedule:

Lindsay had been shooting almost non-stop without sleep for 2 days and was staying at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Marina del Rey to get some shut eye.

Last October, Dr. Drew predicted that Lohan would be dead within a year.
