Lindsay Lohan and her attorney were ordered to appear in Beverly Hills court Tuesday afternoon, ostensibly to address the matter of her court-ordered alcohol-monitoring device going off while she was reported at an MTV Movie Awards after-party Sunday night.

The court appearance was scheduled for 3 p.m. at Beverly Hills Superior Court, and it wasn't clear if Lohan herself would appear or if her attorney would handle the matter for her.

Judge Marsha Revel, who had required Lohan to wear the monitor after she missed another court date regarding her 2007 DUI conviction, reportedly made today's appearance order as well. Lohan could have her bail revoked if she is found to have imbibed. One of her conditions for bail is no alcohol.

Officials at the courthouse told LA Weekly they had received media calls about the rumored appearance but that they could not confirm Lohan was coming.
