Several Injured, 71-Year-Old Woman Dead after Auto Collision near Abbott Drive
BAKERSFIELD, CA (May 24, 2022) – Late Thursday afternoon, a traffic crash on State Route 14 left Linda Jean Kracke dead.
The incident occurred around 4:40 p.m., north of the Redrock-Randsburg intersection near Abbott Drive.
Furthermore, police said the crash involved a horse trailer and a sedan. The impact of the collision resulted in multiple injuries and left one driver dead.
Eventually, authorities identified the deceased driver as 71-year-old Linda Jean Kracke who was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officials stated that several other individuals were injured from the collision, but their identities and current conditions are not available at this moment.
Meanwhile, both directions of the roadway were temporarily shutdown to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties.
