Lina in L.A. – Tiki Night at The Egyptian

The American Cinematheque's annual Tiki Night was Hollywood-meets-Honolulu hullabaloo Saturday, with hula dancers, live music by King Kukulele & The Friki Tikis and a vibrant retro fashion show from Wonderama in the theatre's famed courtyard. A Tiki Marketplace offered tropical treasures for purchase, and of course, their was a cocktail bar with potent island concoctions. It all led up to a screening of “South Seas Adventure,” the final travelogue film produced by Cinerama showcasing the beauty of Hawaii, Tahiti, Fiji, New Zealand and Australia. Enjoy the event's aloha looks amidst the Egyptian's historic ambiance.
